Malpas

Malpas has a pretty and historic high street featuring excellent independent shops and cafes and a new Co-op.  The Lion Pub and restaurant is a great place to eat and socialise and also has accommodation for visiting friends and family.  Malpas is home to Bishop Heber Secondary School which has an excellent reputation and means that the area is very popular with families with school age children.  St Oswalds Church, dating mainly from the fifteenth century, provides a picturesque backdrop to the village.
