Rickitt Partnership at the London and Country Property Show
Last week Tim donned his best tweed suit, complemented by his signature colourful orange socks, of course, and headed down to the Capital to attend the annual London and Country Property Show. The event was organised by The London Office and took place at Chelsea Old Town Hall.
Amongst their many roles, The London Office support a network of country and regional estate agencies and help showcase their properties to an audience within the Capital as well as abroad. Representatives from agencies across the country attended the event to showcase the attributes of their respective counties as well as to display a selection of the properties on their books.
The show is an important date in the diary for those considering relocating to the countryside and it attracts potential buyers from the Capital itself, the home counties and further afield with some people flying in from abroad. At the show attendees are able to meet with agents, talk about the current market conditions and discuss their specific requirements and search criteria in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.
As always Tim thoroughly enjoyed attending the event and renewing acquaintances with long-standing clients as well as meeting new ones. Tim’s knowledge of the Cheshire marketplace is second to none and all the potential buyers he spoke to went away with a greater understanding of what Cheshire has to offer as well as knowledge of house prices, market conditions and best places to buy to suit their particular needs.
The conversations Tim had confirmed that there is still a lifestyle consideration at play when people are thinking about moving – quality of life in the countryside versus hectic London life remains high on people’s wish list. With this demand for country properties that are still easily accessible to London as well as other major cities, investment buyers are also showing sustained interest in regional properties to either rent out or as a development opportunity.
In short, Tim thoroughly enjoyed attending the show and imparting his knowledge to an unsuspecting public! And, although Ralph was unable to attend, Tim took his book of Ralph’s Reviews along.
He was pleased to inform the inimitable pug that the book was a roaring success, showing how bespoke and unique marketing of a property can make all the difference in achieving a successful sale.
