Rickitt Partnership Director, Tim Rickitt, joined his London Office colleagues for the annual Principals’ meeting this week. It was held at the esteemed headquarters of the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) in Belgrave Square and we are reliably informed by Tim that a very productive day was had by all. Read on to find out how Rickitt Partnership’s affiliation with The London Office can help you sell your property.
The London Office was set up to assume a marketing support role for out of town agents, offering them access to an affluent London audience. The London Office act for 38 independent firms of Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents. The agents, with a total of 228 offices between them, cover the entirety of the UK from Cornwall to Scotland. With a universally professional and proactive approach, all the London Office affiliates aim to offer a superlative service for their clients. Central to this is to be able to offer local market knowledge and marketing that is second to none, combined with targeted marketing to a high value London and International market.
The annual Principals’ meeting is always a great opportunity for senior members of the various agencies to get together to discuss national and local housing trends as well as to share innovative marketing ideas.
As always, London and the home counties are experiencing a micro-market all of their own. The feeling from agents in those areas is that, whilst they are definitely feeling the pinch, they remain confident that it will be another positive year. Agents around the country are finding that the buyers are there but that there is a universal shortage of properties coming on to the market.
The agents also discussed the roles of both traditional and digital estate agents. The feeling is very much that the public still greatly values the personal service and local market knowledge offered by traditional bricks and mortar estate agents. From our own experience we certainly find that our clients require a level of expertise, service and accessibility that would be difficult to offer if we did not have a fully manned office.
Ideas for creative marketing of properties was very much on the agenda at the meeting and a particular topic of interest was the upcoming London and Country Property Show. Taking place at Olympia on 17 April, Rickitt Partnership are excited to be part of this prestigious show.
With a high profile, it will be promoted in Country life and Country and Townhouse magazines as well as other premium London publications. In previous years the show has been supported with editorial features in national glossy magazines as well as in the national press so it is likely that it will illicit similar interest this year. It will also be supported on social media and will be marketed directly to the London Office database as well as to the databases of all the affiliate agents. This annual show is a real event in the property marketing calendar and is just one of the ways that Rickitt Partnership set themselves apart. If you would like your property to be showcased at the London and Country Property Show please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Tim came back from the Principals’ meeting excited for the year ahead and full of ideas – as those of you who know him can attest to, this can be a very dangerous thing!
